IPP Group employees who successfully completed a Business Improvement Techniques training programme have been awarded their NVQ certificates.

Seven candidates based at the company’s Barton-under-Needwood headquarters volunteered to undertake a Lean Management Principles project aimed at improving efficiency in the press and machine shop areas. Course modules included health and safety, effective team working and problem solving techniques.

IPP Group HR Manager Michael Hudson said: “Congratulations everyone. Although the company funded the project work, every one of the lads invested their own time to complete the coursework.”
