Each spool is prepared in house, and assembled using bespoke alignment jigs in conjunction with state of the art Faro Arm inspection equipment allowing final preparation of weld bevels in kit form, thus saving considerable time during welding.

Following material procurement and preparation, the spools are fabricated by our welding engineers to internal industry leading weld procedures. Our qualified QA engineers oversee the required NDT requirements including radiograph, DPI, hardness and hydrostatic testing. After completion the spools are subject to pickling and passivation in our in house acid baths and as a final processing option polymer coated prior to delivery to the client. A comprehensive manufacturing record book accompanies each spool detailing every aspect of its creation.
