Destructive Testing

IPP Group have a partnership and service agreement with a world renowned independent testing laboratory to carry out a full range of mechanical testing, metallurgic examination and corrosion testing.
The laboratory is housed on site at our headquarters and enables all testing to be conducted 'in house', therefore ensuring product lead times are reduced. This enables delivery times to be reduced as stock allocation, manufacturing and testing can be provided all under one roof.

Testing is conducted by SGS MIS Testing Limited. The laboratory is ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and UKAS accredited. For the complete scope of work, please follow this link.

Non Destructive Testing

IPP offer a full range of non destructive testing methods, performed by industry qualified personnel to PCN Level II and ISO 9712:2012.
The following methods of testing are offered by the IPP Group:

• Positive Material Identification (via X-RF)


• Surface Hardness (HRB and HRC)


• Feritscope


• Hydrotesting
